Control printer use on a PC network.
Normally in big companies workers often use the printer for things not connected with their daily tasks. For this reason, if you don´t want excessive ink consumption, you need to control it. HSLAB Print Logger EE is a program designed to manage document printing on a LAN. This utility inspects the printing work of the PC it is installed in and creates a report in which a series of data is collected: size, pages, jobs being printed, the PC where they originated, etc.
Apart from the main feature, you can also use HSLAB Print Logger EE as an administrator that prohibits document printing from a set PC or set a maximum number of documents for each one so that once that number is reached the printer will be blocked. Also, you can establish permission for PCs connected to the same network to access, or not, the information collected on printing habits.
With HSLAB Print Logger EE you can check the use of a printer by each member of a company, via the username of the PC or the IP that is assigned to a PC.
